We rented a pet friendly cabin and it was wonderful. Air conditioner, TV and a full-size bed plus two bunk beds. Small counter with chair and a perfect empty corner for a porta potty (which, while the bathroom is quite close) is nicer than wandering to the restroom in the middle of the night. Great staff. Beautiful campground. Lovely sunrise. Will definitely stay again.

THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BE SURE THAT YOU HAD A WONDERFUL STAY. BATHROOMS ARE CLEAN AND WARM. SUMMER TIME POOL AND LOUNGING CABANAS ARE ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. SEASONAL SNACK SHACK ALSO A PLUS. LOCAL SHOPPING AVAILABLE FOR RV STOCKING, AND OFFICE HAS PLENTY OF SUPPLIES REDILY AVAILABLE. CHEAP PROPANE CAMPFIRE RENTAL FOR YOUR STAY ALSO AVAILABLE. GREAT DOG PARK IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH A FURRY COMPANION. CONVENIENT GAS STOP @ THE INTERSTATE EXIT, WITH GOOD PRICES. Neat, clean, and easy in and out. A great place to stop for the night or a few days. Two easy in and out gas options for vehicles with trailers right next door make this a very convenient stop. Nice people, well kept, and the things you need make this a good choice for the night.

We enjoyed our first stay at the Wakeeney KOA in September 2024 while traveling from Colorado back to our home in Missouri. It is a clean and very well cared for RV park close to restaurants and fuel. (Pizza Hut delivery was AWESOME!) It features trees, cabins, big rig and patio sites, a nice dog park, a playground and nice pool to name a few.

We were car camping here. The folks running this place were amazing! Helpful, kind, and just abundantly nice. Beautiful pool, clean restrooms and showers. Our campsite was well kept and they served biscuits and gravy in the morning! Yay! Cute place.

Stayed overnight Labor Day weekend Saturday night 2024: We really enjoyed our overnight stay here and will add it to our favorites. We have a 45’ 5th Wheel and I was a little concerned about some of the reviews that mentioned it was a little tight maneuvering around the park but we had no problem. We got in around 7 pm and check-in was a breeze. We still had some light and a nice young lady guided us into our site on her golf cart. The site had two septic connections which is great since we are so long. All the connections were in good condition and the site was level gravel. All sites have grass & a picnic table. Camp K9 was grassy with no stickers, fenced, clean and stocked with big job bags and had cute red lights at night that threw off just the right amount of light. The store was nicely stocked with staples and local crafts and from Memorial Day to Labor Day they offer Ice Cream daily from 5 pm - 7:30 pm & on Friday - Sunday mornings from 8-10 they offer biscuits & gravy or sausage biscuit, which is a nice touch. We had some business to do in the morning and requested a late check out and that was no problem so we really appreciated the flexibility.
