Wakeeney KOA Journey is our “go to”stop on our way from Colorado to Kansas City! We love our hosts. . .so kind and always helpful! I always give a good review but I also want to say how beautiful it is! The campground is pristine and the surrounding scenery is Kansas at its best with farmland, evergreen trees, green grass! If you’re traveling through Kansas, it’s the place to stop!

Nice clean quiet Rv campsites. Really good bathrooms and store. Beautiful pool! Our second stay here. We checked in after hours around 8 PM. Our site was ready for us. We couldn’t get on the Wi-Fi so there was an after hours number on the Info pack. I called it. She was extremely helpful. She called her IT guy and less than 30 minutes, She texted me back said the Wi-Fi was up & we had Excellent Wi-Fi the Rest of Our stay. Will definitely stay here again! Above and beyond.!

Very nice and well maintained KOA. Checked-in by an owner and she was as nice and friendly as she could be. The campground was very clean, freshly mowed and overall, just very nice. Great sites and very quiet. We’ve stayed there 3 or 4 times over the years and this was the nicest we remember seeing it. Will continue to stay there when on that route.

The location is SUPER if you’re traveling through the area-easy off and on the highway. The office staff is so friendly, the spaces are great, and the bathrooms/showers/laundry facilities are spotless. We’d definitely stay there again in the future

This was the perfect overnight stop on our way to Colorado. It's conveniently located right off the interstate, making it easy to get in, relax for the evening, and get back on the road the next morning. The owners were incredibly friendly and even handed out free KOA koozies, which was a fun and thoughtful touch. The sites were nice, level (it is Kansas, after all!), and the entire campground was very well maintained. Our kids loved the pool and playground, giving them a chance to burn off some energy after a long day of driving. If you're passing through western Kansas and need a clean, convenient, and family-friendly place to stay, this KOA is an excellent choice. We'd definitely stay here again.

The park is in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The store had the essentials. They had an ice cream social which was fun. The bathrooms and laundry area were clean and nice. The sites were well maintained. Cool the local scouts had a can to collect cans near the trash dumping area. We enjoyed going to Rosie's for breakfast and dinner. We were at the park during the heat wave and really enjoyed the pool area and were thankful for the nice lounge chairs and shade . Thank you for a great stay.

This KOA rv resort is clean. All sites have gravel and some have shade trees. They have a nice pool and swings and slides for the kids. Each evening, you can purchase ice cream or a root beer float. Very nice staff.
