Cleanest KOA we have ever stayed in. We just did an overnight but we noticed that the grounds were very well taken care of. Definitely will start again when we come through Western Kansas. The Honeysuckle smell in the morning was a bonus to wake up to also.

Very nice campground. Level sites. We did not get to use the pool or playground but both looked great. Easy access to the campground from highway. Folks are very nice. Fair price.

Quite, clean and friendly. WaKeeney was a sleeply little town. But there is an awesome winery outside of town down a long dirt road. You don't want to miss that! You'll find it, it might be the only one for a hundred miles.

We rented a pet friendly cabin and it was wonderful. Air conditioner, TV and a full-size bed plus two bunk beds. Small counter with chair and a perfect empty corner for a porta potty (which, while the bathroom is quite close) is nicer than wandering to the restroom in the middle of the night. Great staff. Beautiful campground. Lovely sunrise. Will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our first stay at the Wakeeney KOA in September 2024 while traveling from Colorado back to our home in Missouri. It is a clean and very well cared for RV park close to restaurants and fuel. (Pizza Hut delivery was AWESOME!) It features trees, cabins, big rig and patio sites, a nice dog park, a playground and nice pool to name a few.
