Might be in the middle of no where, but Wakeeny is very quaint and the people of the town, at least so far, have been very friendly. The KOA is very well maintained, and the pool area is very nice. The public showers are very clean (I don't use them, but always check them out) The wifi speeds have ranged from 15Mbps to almost 40Mbps for those of you working or wanting to stream in HD or even 4K. Not sure if I will ever be passing through again, but would definitely stay at the KOA again.

Great KOA. It's not fancy, but it's clean with a friendly staff and an awesomely refreshing pool. There's some road noise, but if you are looking for a great place to stop for the night, this is it! We always look forward to stopping here on our way back to Colorado!

This campsite is more like glamping but it’s an amazing change up in our cross country trip!!!! They have everything you could ever need. Laundry 24/7!!!! A pool to cool off from the dry heat!!! A little basketball court and even a little football turf. And as a bonus the restaurant .1 miles away called the brazen bull has an amazing atmosphere and even better food!!!! We are beyond happy with our night stay in WaKeeney:):)

We had a great experience with this KOA. We were greeted by really friendly faces, given great directions and important info, and even guided to our campsite. The campground is extremely clean and well kept. All the utilities were great! We will definitely return to this KOA in the future!

A very nice, quiet koa right off highway and close to A 24/7 with gas and diesel. Sites are level and plentiful. Pool not open this time of year. They still have ice cream in the office at reasonable price. Workers friendly. Showers and laundry clean and functions well. I stayed here several times in the 90's and was very nice then and continues to be. Ill come back
